Hi! I'm Michelle from the great Pacific Northwest.
I live with my boyfriend and our furry ones, 4 lionhead rabbits: Aro, Shmi, Vader & Ginny. I used to watch my brothers dog Rory while he was in Japan (for 3 years) but now they're back together in Virginia.
I geek out with a lot of things, especially Harry Potter. I've had the chance to meet the stars of Supernatural and that was amazzzing!
I'm involved in postcrossing.com and swap daily from my instagram site. I also do chaincards. You can see my collection on instagram using the hashtag #michelleschaincards. It's a fun way to collect different stamps from around the world.
Hobbies: reading, watching tv, hiking, pub trivia, amateur spelunking, sightseeing, scrapbooking, cooking, eating (I'm a foodie) & of course, postcrossing.
Things I collect: postcards, pressed pennies, shotglasses (got this from my mom), magnets from my travels & anything Harry Potter.
Love Sports- here are my favorite teams:
I love watching the Olympics too. Team USA!
I like a lot of movies & watch a lot of random stuff but here are some movies I can watch over and over and over:
Favorite Directors: JJ Abrams, Tarantino, Vaughn, Spielberg, Scorsese, Nolan, Howard, Whedon, Todd Phillips
-anything from Edgar Wright! (love the Cornetto Trilogy!) Have you seen Baby Driver? SEEEE ITTT!!
I'm a Marvel & DC fan so I watch all those superhero movies too.
I also watch foreign films. I understand Tagalog so I watch a lot of Filipino films. I also watch Korean ones (with subtitles) - Train to Busan is really good!
Classic Fav: Abbott & Costello meet Frankenstein
I'm also guilty of watching those Lifetime Christmas movies during the holidays. The cheesier, the better!
HARRY POTTER! (I reread them a lot)
anything by James Rollins (met him once!) and anything by J.T. Ellison. I also enjoy Philippa Gregory novels (Tudor & Plantagenet).
Big fan of dystopian & YA. I also read war memoirs and celebrity biographies/memoirs. My favorite genre to read is Thriller/Mystery. The book I read a lot when I was younger was 'Holes' so that's a personal favorite.

Old Favorites: I Love Lucy, CSI, The Vampire Diaries, Meteor Garden, Revenge, Gossip Girl, Band of Brothers, HIMYM, The Office, Teen Wolf, Dexter
I know it's cheesy but I've been watching The Challenge series on MTV since 2003 & I love it. (always Team CT)
Favorite is Mumford & Sons.
Some other favorites: Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Adele, Luke Bryan, Garth Brooks, Civil Wars, Sia, Elvis Presley, Ed Sheeran, Anderson East, Scorpions & Journey
I recently went to Texas and discovered Parker McCollum. I love his song "I Can't Breathe"
My favorite genre is bluegrass/country and folk (Americana). I also listen to a lot of classic rock, motown, musicals & boy bands- BSB for life!
I'm not really picky, I like most cards but enjoy tourist ones the most.
I don't collect stamps by themselves, I like them on my cards and I enjoy commemorative ones. If you could use some on my card, I'd appreciate it! (I especially love ones from UK & Canada!)
here are my favorites: (you can send written or blank)
I'll also take Washington cards, even though I live here. I have a special box for all WA cards :) .
Cards I don't care for:
of course if the swap calls for it, then it's ok.
